I wanted to share with you a little home-decorating thing that I love.
I got the idea from Gabriella’s Cafe in Santa Cruz:
They’ve got cute little sticks on the wall spelling out “Gabriella’s Cafe”, and I stole the idea:
And I plan to do it again in my new apartment, this time spelling out “Welcome” in Thai. Why Thai? Because it’s a beautiful, floopy language.

I think this will bring an element of nature into my living space and also be a great conversation starter. And hell, I enjoy playing with leaves and hot glue guns. Who wouldn’t?
